Should tea towels be washed separately?
We recommend you split your dirty washing into light and dark colours to avoid any dye crossing over, but that doesn’t mean you have to wash your tea towels separately from the rest of your laundry. Tea towels should be machine washed at 30 degrees, and for best results, use a non-biological detergent which contains no optical whiteners, bleaching agents, or enzymes. What's the difference between an oven glove and oven gauntlet?
There are many different types of oven gloves, and it’s all down to personal preference when baking and cooking in the kitchen. The main difference is that a double oven glove allows you to use both hands and is excellent for removing heavy pans and dishes from the oven, whilst an oven mitt or gauntlet caters for one hand and is perfect for baking trays or moving pots and pans around the kitchen or on the hob. Gauntlets are longer than oven mitts, meaning they will protect your arm from heat - this is great for large or deep ovens or range cookers.
