Launching in time to celebrate the royal wedding on the 19th of May 2018, our latest fine bone china mug features a joyful carriage procession from St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Harry and Meghan ride in the first carriage, with HRH Queen Elizabeth II in the second carriage with HRH Prince Philip. But of course, we haven’t forgotten the furry members of the royal family - the Queen’s beloved corgis and Meghan’s Guy the beagle and Bogart the labrador-shepherd cross also feature in the procession, making it a mug that’s perfect for those who love the royal family and their four-legged friends.
COMMEMORATIVE MUG FOR ROYAL BABY LOUIS IN 2018
We’ve given just as much careful thought to the other addition of our well-loved commemorative range here at Sophie Allport, designing a royal mug to celebrate the imminent arrival of Kate and Willaim’s third bundle of joy this spring.
The fine bone china mug depicts a happy family scene in front of the gates of Kensington Palace, with Princess Charlotte and Prince George cartwheeling alongside Lupo the cocker spaniel and one of the Queen’s corgis. Of course, the all-important new baby sleeps soundly in a silver cross pram, and his or her name (alongside their date of birth) features on the inside of the rim, hand-written by Sophie to mark the special day. And to make it a truly British affair, the mugs are hand-decorated and fired in Stoke on Trent.
